Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order. Order just one unit or case of any item.
Can I buy less than a case?
No. In order to offer the best possible pricing we are only able to sell full cases on any of our products that are sold by the case pack. Other products that are sold by the unit or other quantity must be purchased by a full unit or quantity as well.
How do I place an order?
  • Order On-Line: Existing customers can login and shop on-line under their established accounts. New customers will need to register during the secure checkout process.
  • Order by Phone: Call one of our experienced Customer Service Representatives at 800-323-1609 to place your order.
  • Order by Fax: Our fax number is 847-675-9042. Please be sure to include all pertinent billing and shipping information, including a method of payment. Include a contact name and phone number in case we have questions regarding your order.
What payment options are available?
  • Credit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
  • Credit Terms: Our terms are Net 30 upon approval of credit. New customers can apply for credit terms by faxing your credit reference sheet to us at fax 847-675-9042. To expedite this process, please be sure it includes a bank reference as well as 3 trade references. It should give all pertinent information such as name, address, phone and fax numbers, account numbers, and contact names for the bank and all trade references.
Will you ship C.O.D.?
No.
When will my order ship?
In-stock orders are usually shipped within 24 hours. Some products may not be stocked in our Illinois warehouse and may require additional time. Please feel free to call Customer Service at 800-323-1609 if you require additional information on specific items and their availability.
How will my order ship?
Your order will ship via the cheapest available carrier. All orders are shipped F.O.B. our warehouse.
Can I request faster shipping?
We can ship your order via UPS’s Next Day, Second Day, or Three Day Select services. Please call our Customer Service Department at 800-323-1609 for rates.
Do you offer any special pricing or quantity discounts?
Yes we do!
  • All on-line orders will utilize our Multi-Item Discount program. Multiple items combine for the best quantity pricing, regardless of what type of item they are. That’s right…every size, every color, every single stock product can be combined together for a total unit quantity which can be used for all the product price charts on our website. For example, 10 cases of shopping bags and 10 cases of giftboxes will combine so that you will receive the 20 unit pricing discount. Simply put, the more you order, the more you save.
  • Large Volume Customers: We can customize a program for you based on your annual usage. Please see our

Will I be charged sales tax?
We are required to charge sales tax on our products shipped into IL, WI and PA UNLESS you provide us with your state Sales Tax Registration number. Please contact our credit department to receive the appropriate form at 800-323-1609 ext. 4365.
What is your policy on returns?
Items must be pre-approved for return and will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. Special orders, custom printed products, or certain drop ship products may not be returned. Unless it is our error, shipping charges will not be credited.
Can I order a catalog or sample of your products?
Yes, we welcome the opportunity to send you our free catalog or product samples free of charge. You may request our catalog or your specific samples by filling out the Info Request form on-line. Or contact one of our Customer Service Representatives at 800-323-1609.
Are there ever size or color variations on your products?
Due to industry acceptable manufacturing tolerances as well as natural variations in paper and board substrates, there may be slight variations in size or color on some packaging products. Also, colors may not appear accurately on computer monitors. Therefore, we strongly advise you to request a sample of any of our products prior to ordering when you require a closely matched size or color. We will not accept returns of products for slight color or size variations as stated above.
Can any of your products be custom printed or hot stamped?
Yes, virtually all of our packaging products can be ink printed or hot stamped with your logo. We can also design and produce completely custom printed packaging products, as well as entire coordinated custom printed packaging programs based on your specifications. Are you able to provide other items that are not listed on this website?
Yes. We have featured our in-stock items that are available for immediate shipping as well as some of the most popular drop ship items that we sell. This is just the tip of the iceberg! We have partnered with many quality manufacturers and vendors both here and abroad who either stock, can special order, or custom manufacture hundreds of other packaging items that are not listed here. Is my credit card and other information safe?
Yes, all of your on-line ordering is safe and secure. Our Secure Server Software (SSL) encrypts all of your personal information, including your credit card number, so that it cannot be read as the information travels on the internet. Also, Howard Packaging values your privacy and will never share your information with any other companies.
Are any of your packaging products recycled?
Yes, many of our in-stock packaging products are made with high percentages of Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials. We are committed to providing our customers with earth friendly ‘Green’ packaging products whenever possible. Also, our knowledgeable sales group is able to advise you of the current options available in the industry in terms of recycled and degradable packaging.
